Anita Gokal

Anita Gokal brings a length of experience in teaching Primary and secondary levels with an extensive Montessori background. She has taught in public and private schools in three continents embracing diversity, celebrating and understanding different cultures around the world. She was trained at the Montessori Institute for Northern Texas-an affiliation of AMI under the supervision of Dr. Jean Miller and is now fulfilling her passion for Cosmic Education at Huapai Montessori with the children in the second plane of development. She also holds a full teaching certificate in New Zealand. She has mentored many teachers in their course of Montessori training in New Zealand and has presented herself as a Montessori advocate at various international forums.

Anita lives in Auckland with her husband and two children. She loves to lead  teacher training, parental involvement sessions, etc via public forums. In her free time, she loves exploring nature, engaging in simple family adventures, cooking and participating in a voluntary service within her community.

Neil Cameron

Neil is a fully registered primary trained teacher with four years of recent teaching experience in the Montessori early childhood sector and previous teaching experience in the primary sector.

Returning to the classroom following an earlier period of teaching in the new entrant classroom, and following a University career in Art & Design, he was drawn to return to the classroom through his own son’s beautiful journey through a Montessori preschool.

Neil has an interest in the male presence in the Montessori classroom and the modelling of warmth and sensitivity,  aspiring to the qualities of being interesting to the children, fun, calm and dignified as a way of being.

Neil holds a New Zealand Practicing Certificate with a Full Category of Certification (Primary), and a Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Years 3-6) from the North American Montessori Centre in Canada.
